What is Mobile Occupational Therapy?

A client centred service where we come to you! This could be your home, online, outdoors, school or preschool. We are based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and will travel a maximum of 30 minutes for sessions. We work closely with the family to determine what the best environment will be to support the child’s progress and development. put the client first!

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapist help children ‘do’ the occupations that are meaningful for them. Whether that is kicking a footy, tying their shoelaces or using a knife and fork, we have tools to support children to become more independent. We don’t necessarily 'do’ the action though investigate deeper to find out why this might be tricky for them. We may look at the way children process sensory information, their movement skills and emotional regulation to determine how to best support them.

Our services include:

Assessment and reports, one-on-one OT sessions, parent coaching sessions, telehealth sessions, school and preschool visits, visuals and home programs.

What can we help with?

OT’s can help modify and adapt a range of activities to support the individual. Some of the areas we can help with include fine motor skills, movement and coordination, self-care skills, sensory processing, visual motor and visual perception skills, self-regulation and coping skills, social skills and social participation, community participation, building independence and environmental modifications.
